The Two Sides of the Immigration Coin

The Two Sides of the Coin of Immigration

Acts 17:26 “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.”

Our country is at a crossroads between the two different points of view regarding Immigration. I am very concerned to share the following. Unfortunately, several recent actions have led our country into further division, survival mode, and crisis. We are dismayed! We can all disagree with many of the comments on social media platforms about the lack of respect for humanity or empathy regarding the various crises and current situations happening around the world.
As a result, we have moved from unbiased, common-sense, practical solutions to extreme rhetoric and an uptick in what appears to be a downhill stream that will jeopardize the well-being and lives of so many. One such example, among the several I am going to mention, will not be intended to reflect only divisions, but an upward hope that humanity will regain its meaning and refrain from further disorder. I will try to be fair but frank, and I think it is necessary at a time like this.
For now, let's use the unbelievable comments of those who have mocked and applauded the recent flooding in Texas as God's revenge, because of new immigration legislation, or jail facilities in Florida that are surrounded by alligators. First, let me be very clear and express my disapproval of the location of this facility, because it is surrounded by alligators, and that would make anyone fearful!

Although the facilities are new and safe from the inside, air-conditioned and much better than what the past management offered. However, there is great concern that a flood or natural disaster will occur, and lives will be lost. I hope that this administration, after a recent meeting with 1,000 Christian leaders gathered on different topics, has talked about this issue, and the President and whoever came up with the idea in his administration will change their minds!

This has caused many to leave President Trump's Republican Party and has also given a bad image to the Christian Church, because for many, this administration has shown to represent the faith. Although it is a deterrent, it is inhumane and will cost the Body of Christ a lot of work to restore the damage caused.

Acknowledging the fact that our vote for Trump depended on many factors, and let it be known this was not foreseen, although we knew deportations were coming. But when we cast a vote, it should be ample in its perspective, not narrowed to one cause. Yet, some had selfishly wished we hadn't voted for him, but we must remember, our country was in a major crisis on so many levels that many are not aware of, and as it is human for some to only think about what is in their best interest!

No one should try to blame us for choosing one cause over the others, not all fights are won at once, and as there are many sides of the coin to all issues. Not all of the undocumented immigration angles have been positive or good for many affected. We especially reiterate that gangsters and real criminals were invading our country without being vetted or counted by the previous administration. In understanding that not all immigrants are criminals, as some assume! Yes, they broke a law, but there is more to judging this correctly. However, the horrible and indecent comments against immigrants are unfair and quite un-Christian.

Most of them are good and hardworking people, people of family and faith! And the recent negotiations to keep some of them in the country, related to labor, are the beginning of change in this administration. The United States is also responsible for the backs and hard work of immigrants used for lower wages, tax evasion, and not having to cover and pay for health insurance, which is considered an abuse, but I digress. Moreover, many undocumented immigrants earned their salaries,s and this helped them to keep their relatives in their countries, who could not even offer them, due to their low resources and bad or corrupt governments. But let's not deny the reality that many also abused the American system for years.

As for the natural disaster that has taken place in Texas, it is also inhumane for so many to seek validation or claim that it was God's vengeance. This is how many commented on the networks. Although God is a God of vengeance and we are not sure of His action in this matter, there was that individual who mocked God by saying that if Jesus were an immigrant, he would be deported. I personally believe God would not cause such a disaster to an area where mostly people and children lived. In perspective, we can take into account that many other states, such as Mexico, Florida, N.C., and so on, as well as other countries, have experienced the same and worse effects of natural disasters.

So, whether it's climate war modification, or climate refurbishment, climate change, apocalyptic events, or anything else that can identify these disasters, or it's a little bit of all of the above, the fact remains that we have urgent issues with the current climate implications. Disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes, and more and it's evident, and it's about time we start addressing this. And he urged Republicans to confront this issue and stop politicizing it. Democrats should not use this to try to implement legislation with other interests.

It is completely unacceptable that these are those who celebrate the disasters or deaths of others, as I have seen so many on both sides of this issue mock each other with such careless and hateful expressions. Not sympathizing with young children drowning in Texas or with undocumented and illegal families separated without time to prepare, or sleeping surrounded by alligators, is beneath humanity. There is a better way to solve these problems with strong implementation and rules, but not to these extremes.

Others have taken the opportunity to say, "Now you care about the children, what about the children of Gaza?" If we were to play with the same rule, which we shouldn’t say, well, now you understand how we feel about abortion and tearing babies or about transitional surgeries of the chest and penis of young children.

God has a way of allowing a specific cause to disturb us, to create awareness and build the character and heart, and to expand our cause further than ourselves. It is said that all who love are God's, now we must work on building love, which the Word says will grow cold in the last days. Evil will never overcome good! Without a doubt, we are in the last days, and we should get our act together and be ready to face our creator at any time, and take care of how we treat others.

This implies that instead of living by our opinions, ideologies, and desires of the flesh, we choose a higher moral ground and live by God's prophetic Word that does not fail. God does not want us to fail and get lost. All of this was foretold in the Bible and is happening before our eyes. The question is, what action are we taking to take a stand for truth, justice, and love? Are we ready to follow Him and truly accept His ways, greater than our own? Or will hide cowardly behind the wings of God, to not face the challenges of this world!

Most Americans care about the children of Gaza, Russia, Africa, or Yemen and seek to end the war, for it is heartbreaking to see children suffer in war-torn countries. But first, we must accept that the problem is not Israel, but extreme Islamic terrorism and totalitarian laws, which withhold any rights and fair rules for their own people. As Americans or Christians, we should, if we are wise, stand with Israel; they are our only true ally and provide us with 75% of the intelligence to prevent the United States from being attacked.

Since, as you may have noticed, we have great enemies in the Middle East and in the world.
Many Arabs want these regimes to lose power and are asking the United States for help. Indeed, there are good Arabs and peaceful Christians in the Middle East for whom we should pray and support, but the reality is that the persecution of extreme Islam has minimized Christianity in large numbers!

A notable factor is that yes, these wars are also battles for oil, trade, and billions of dollars are of interest, but at the end of the day, we must defend our country and our freedoms, which no country in the Middle East will grant us. Nor do we want to lose power and be ruled by them. Which is what the Bible predicts will happen to many. We must be clear on which side we will be on. We see how many in the Democratic Party have already aligned themselves forcefully with them and against America!

But more so, it is a biblical commandment to be with Israel; they are the root, we are the branches. Without the Bible, based on the history of Israel and a Jewish messiah, having God chosen them, there would be no Christian faith! That's just a hard pill to swallow for many, but it's a fact, anything other than that truth is apostasy! Please read Romans 11 for more clarity on the subject. This does not mean that we cannot criticize or point out what is not right, or have to applaud this government if they are not right in a matter. But, denying them and turning one's back on them, cursing or persecuting them will have biblical and earthly consequences, and that you could take to the bank.

With that said, we must beware that there is so much fake news, talks, and reports about Israel and propaganda that lie, hide facts, and are biased. This is what happened in schools with anti-Semitism, that is, tamed and influenced by large donors of money who have alternative interests and smear Israel as their daily bread. The moment we understand this, we can enter a real intellectual conversation, as this topic is deep and complex, and one must know how to navigate it, or you will get lost in the web of misinformation and emotions!

It will end up as we see now, with many aligning themselves with the anti-Christ spirit, which we already see the lamp, the discernment, and the Holy Spirit turning away from many who have apostatized from the faith, making Christianity conformable to their world.
Only the research and knowledge of those who publish the truth will enable us to discern and seek real news, which is seldom found.

A true Christian cares and prays for all people in the world, regardless of their faith, country, status, gender, or sins. We understand that we are all sinners saved by grace! For a God who loved the world and gave his only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him may be saved! After accepting this call, there is responsibility and a change of heart that must happen as the Bible teaches us by the power of His Holy Spirit. Now, let us not deceive ourselves, God is a God of love and mercy, but He also teaches us, He is also a God of laws, fire, vengeance, and justice.

Jesus Himself said; Matthew 10:34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but the sword.

To the point of the silence of many Christians who do not follow the book on these and other issues is unbelievable and deafening. Many use their social media to post stories and self-images, as if nothing is happening, as the world falls apart before our eyes. The Lord said that the church would be sleeping in the end times, and He was right. The apostasy and the calling of good bad and the bad good is overwhelming, people want to twist this to their selfish ambitions and greed. And many have conveniently denied Israel, while others, out of cowardice, avoid controversial issues because their god is themselves and their welfare!

As the immigration situation continues to become difficult, the system is broken, and many are going through difficult and crucial times. Our goal is to be those voices so that things will improve. So that there are fair measures, our government would not only choose to grant visas to the most educated or wealthy, but also be fair-minded. As for those who abhor this country, they should beware of speaking from a place of hatred and vengeance to the country that, while not perfect, has opened its doors to the largest number of immigrants in the world! And the one that has most often helped Latin countries and the world economically!

The abhorrent behavior and denial of some do not help the cause, but as they say, we speak from the abundance of our hearts! We know that the U.S. can do more, but it seems that no matter how many millions of visas, asylum cases, and residency are granted, for some, it is never enough.

U.S. Visas in 2024

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) announced on May 13 that it issued nearly 5.2 million nonimmigrant visas worldwide in the first half of fiscal year (FY) 2024. This number is “higher than in any previous year over the same period,” according to DOS.
“Over the past six months, 30 percent of our U.S. embassies and consulates overseas set all-time records for nonimmigrant visas issued,” the statement reads.

In the first half of FY 2024:
• The Department issued nearly 4.1 million B visitor visas (and border crossing cards) for tourists and temporary business travelers worldwide. • The highest-volume missions continued to set records.

• Nearly two-thirds of B visitor visas and border crossing cards were issued in Mexico, India, Brazil, the People’s Republic of China, Colombia, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador. Collectively, these missions issued more visas than ever before on record.

According to DOS, its efforts have bolstered the United States as a top academic destination and facilitated the workforce and talent needed to keep the American economy strong. By mid-year FY 2024, the Department of State:

• Issued visas to nearly 134,000 exchange visitor program participants and 115,000 students. According to the Department of Commerce, international students contributed nearly $38 billion to the U.S. economy in 2022 and more than 335,000 jobs.

• Issued a record-breaking 205,000 visas to temporary or seasonal workers in agriculture and other sectors, providing lawful labor pathways that support key parts of the American economy.
• Issued 25,000 employment-based immigrant visas – 75% more than the same period in FY 2019, before the pandemic.

Altogether, DOS issued over 281,000 immigrant visas in the first half of FY 24.
US green cards and work visas

There should be gratitude, but the more given, the greater the demand from other countries is deteriorating. Millions have obtained all kinds of support and benefits from the United States, even those who have illegitimately wanted to skip or manipulate the process. And for those who truly have just reasons, this also affects them, not to mention how it can delay those who have been waiting legally for years.

Let's be very clear and remember that if the Democrats had not opened the border excessively and abused the system, to the point of allowing gangsters and criminals to enter without being vetted or investigated, this would not have happened! And why did they do it, you ask? To try to use the votes and increase the census and therefore win more seats in Congress and above all to win the presidency, but this plan failed them, because it was not fair and we can’t mock God.

Further, the scam was theft of funds, theft of social security and Medicaid, identity theft, an increase in taxes for citizens, voucher benefits beyond measures, among other things. It may sound human, till we saw in the recent DOGE reports how many more billions have disappeared by NGO’s and democratically corrupted leadership. There are sustainable and legal ways to help others and that is our call, but with the right perspective, not in a lack of control and disorder as we saw in our cities.

America has always helped many countries, but it is also not responsible for carrying the world's burden. Our faith-based organizations must also do more for the needy and poor, but they have also done a lot as well. The greatest responsibility lies with self and in each of the foreign countries that must assume more responsibility for their citizens and that the abuse and corruption of fragmented governments that exist is put to an end!

We cannot deny that in the first administration, Trump deported very few compared to Biden and Obama! But with the recent increase in crime, overcrowding in our streets, the occupation of hotels and schools, among other factors that affected our communities, this. They got to the point and audacity of prioritizing the rights and well-being of our immigrants over our citizens, which is totally unacceptable. It was there that Americans of all colors and races said enough is enough, which has taken the country to the point where it is at. Now, there are many citizens who want changes, and although we are aware that not everything is being done in the best way, it will be a process to continue legislating and correcting these matters towards a healthy measure for all!

— It is better to protest peacefully, for better laws such as the elimination of the recent opening of facilities that have crocodiles in the waters of the Florida prison. Also, the deporting of undocumented people to foreign countries, not their own. It is incorrect, but that solution came when some countries refused to receive their own, for it is no lie that many opened their jails and set criminals free. And the greatest audacity which we lived through was to see the media hide stories of immigrants committing crimes, taking over people’s houses, raping and killing, drug and human trafficking, and worst of some damn government official would let them out from jail, even without bail! An attack on our country that bought those failed judicial systems and judges, paid by those of interest, aiming to destroy our country! But it seems a part of the population is either ignorant of the fact or deceptively blind! Have you heard of all this? Not if you just watch liberal media.

We need to defend the necessary reforms, but not act as many have done, in plots and aggressions, and some have even resorted to violence, cursing our land, attacking our law enforcement, who are our people as well, our uncles, cousins, brothers, and sisters! The reality is that nothing in this world is forced! No one is going to force the United States to do what some want, except for the willingness of those who help in the process of making such decisions. Finally, keep in mind that many of those who condemn the United States should do more to fix laws and governments in their own countries, as mentioned.

Those who want to escape from their countries have legality in their cause, asylums, and other respective causes, but some want to escape their responsibilities, have lawless lifestyles, they have harmful intent; not all are worthy immigrants. Then some don't want to respect or honor the U.S.; they literally hate Americans, especially white Americans, so why insist on being here? Because no matter how imperfect the United States may be, it is said to be the best country in the world. And, indeed, we cannot deny that some are racist, others unjust, or some who have no empathy, but it is not the majority! And if we are to speak frankly, these same problems are found among our own races and countries! So it’s time to take off the mask on that one and look in the mirror, hate and bias come in all colors for those who, to this day in 2025, carry that burden!

The United States has been a refuge and a home for millions of people, and millions of different nations have prospered and have also been a great influence on the economic growth of the Americas, and that is to be celebrated! So above all else, America is a good place, because of its constitution, its rights, freedoms, aids, and its firm foundations and principles derived from the Judeo-Christian faith and favorable work.

Truly, reading some of the comments from both sides of the coin on this issue is unfortunate and embarrassing as to what some people express. There must be a better way, and we must make a difference,e and if it is not stopped, it can end very badly. Let us be more just, let us be salty and light, respectful, and more empathetic on both sides.

Above all, let us pray for the separated families; it is heartbreaking. Let us be activists for good, for justice, and for unity. At the end of it all, we can’t continue to be the mouthpiece of the devil and speak from a place of resentment, hatred or foolishness, especially if we profess to be believers in God. The Bible speaks of receiving and caring for the immigrant, but it does not mean that we are going to be at an extreme measure or even that the borders are opened without control, that does not work and is not sustainable, neither here nor in other countries.

Other countries also have borders, as Mexico and Canada, and many more. There are countries that just for crossing their borders, they give large fines, and some even jail the undocumented. Trump's offer to pay for the airline tickets and to give $1,000 to the families, so that they can return to the corresponding countries, is not much, but it is something, and it’s not our responsibility to do so. And then he says that they can re-enter legally. We can imagine that this cannot be easy; there is a lot of fabric to cut and a life-altering situation, as it is something that would become more complex for some, especially those who have been here for so many years, but at this point, things are not looking good.

As Americans, we should also be more grateful to the millions of immigrants who for so many years have done good to our country, have worked hard and decently, built businesses, served in churches, built families and have paid their share of taxes and have worked tirelessly to seek citizenship and love this country. We bless you because you are our brothers and sisters, a part of the people, and we hope this will work out for the better and move forward as God allows. Thank you for your time and for reading this contribution, which is aimed at trying to capture both sides of the coin, for a better America.

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S PRESS CONFERENCE
AND SUPREME COURT RULING ON JUNE 27, 2025

https://www.scotusblog.com/2025/06/supreme-court-sides-with-trump-administration-on-nationwide-injunctions-in-birthright-citizenship-case

“Today’s decision restores the proper separation of powers between the branches of government. Ending nationwide injunctions is a tremendous victory for the American people and the rule of law.” — White House Counsel David Warrington

No longer can rogue, activist judges abuse their authority to dictate the executive powers of the President of the United States, the Supreme Court ruled — a massive victory for the Constitution, the rule of law, and the presidency itself.

Since the moment President Trump took office, low-level activist judges have been exploiting their positions to kneecap the agenda on which he was overwhelmingly elected. In fact, of the 40 nationwide injunctions filed against President Trump’s executive actions in his second term, 35 of them came from just five far-left jurisdictions: California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, and the District of Columbia.

Now, the Trump Administration can promptly proceed with critical action to save the country, like ending birthright citizenship, ceasing sanctuary city funding, suspending refugee resettlement, freezing unnecessary funding, stopping taxpayers from funding transgender surgeries, and much more.

The United States issues approximately one million immigrant visas each year, along with hundreds of thousands of nonimmigrant visas. There are 180 types of visas in the U.S.

We must recognize that certain American businesses and industries have, for far too long, taken advantage of and exploited undocumented workers.

The benefactors bestowed by immigrants from all parts of the world on the United States have been vast and history-making, and storytelling. As some say, we can all be considered immigrants, migrating from different countries into another, or conquerors who have established countries and governments, and although we personally might not have that experience, we can certainly say that our parents and ancestors did. We are a melting pot and we should feel proud that despite our differences, we can all stand behind the fact that we are all humans, made in the image of God, and there is much to say on this topic in the Bible, but that will be found in another section of this blog.

A system that has also been taken advantage of and pushed to its core in a country that has, on record, accepted the most immigrants from most countries in the world. However, it seems that no matter how many individuals are granted citizenship, asylum, or visas, it is never enough to address the claims, the crisis, and complaints.

Unfortunately and fortunately, Illegal and legal immigration have always been a part of the American Story. Some with justified reasoning and others with irresponsible and selfish actions. Some with good intentions and others with the wrong intentions. However, we can point out the contributions of decent, hardworking, God-fearing, and taxpaying individuals who strive to make things right, without overlooking that not reporting that you have crossed over to another foreign country is illegal, and such actions forfeit the due process at the entrance and stand little ground to require due process for the case of the individual.

By lesser wages and no medical benefits.  The amount of money gained from the backs of these workers is innumerable, and until the changes in this administration, it was not dealt with directly, overlooked, and not taken into account. The undocumented benefited by having an employment that would pay them more than they would probably gain in their homeland, and therefore they pressed forward in the hope of acquiring enough money to eventually seek citizenship and cover the costs and standards to be met. Those who have tirelessly worked in our workforce, from farmers to servers, babysitters, local businesses, hotels, and many other industries.

However,  to be fair, you don't hear much of these individuals facing any consequences, but only the immigrants. Have you heard of any financial liabilities? lawsuits or legislations that will hold accountable the past actions of those who hired undocumented workers to evade the system?

Florida Senator Blaise Ingoglia proposed SB 1498, a strict immigration bill mandating universal use of E-Verify, severe penalties for hiring undocumented workers, and new legal liabilities for employers. It expands existing laws, targeting non-compliance with financial penalties and license suspensions. The bill raises economic, legal, and administrative concerns while potentially reshaping Florida's labor market. Debate begins in March 2025.

Key Takeaways

  • SB 1498 mandates universal E-Verify use for all Florida employers, expanding from the current threshold of 25 employees.
  • Non-compliance risks include fines of up to $500,000 per violation and potential suspension or revocation of business licenses.
  • Lawsuits are allowed against employers for harm caused by undocumented workers, raising significant legal and economic implications for businesses.

Key Features of the Department Of Justice Memo:

  • Prioritizing Immigration Enforcement: The memo underscores the importance of immigration enforcement and directs federal prosecutors to focus on prosecuting cases related to immigration violations, including employing undocumented workers.
  • Targeting Employers: For the first time, the memo explicitly states that companies knowingly or recklessly employing undocumented workers could face criminal charges.
  • Impact on Staffing Agencies: Third-party companies and staffing agencies may also be implicated if they harbor or inadvertently hire undocumented workers. This holds them accountable as well.

This move aims to deter companies from taking shortcuts when hiring foreign workers, ensuring that immigration laws are strictly enforced across the board.

About 40 percent of crop farmworkers in the U.S. are undocumented, according to the Department of Agriculture. In 2023, an estimated 1.1 million undocumented individuals were employed in the hospitality sector—including hotels and restaurants—making up about 7.6 percent of that workforce, an analysis by the American Immigration Council showed.

Immigration Facts: The Positive Economic Impact of Immigration Immigrants and Immigration Mythbusters: Addressing Common Misconceptions

The different paths to citizenship can be far-fetched and usually attainable only to those who have wealth and a higher education. If you're not an asset, you can be years on end in a system that can be broken and inadequately measured by some. Now, on the other side of the coin, is it possible to consider the alter effects of those who have been legally in line for years, and it can be said that their process is delayed. Meanwhile, the efforts and attention are given to those who choose to cross the border and don't report themselves for the due process needed by law.

The recent turning of the TPS and the CBP app was overturned by this administration, after finding that the former administration had exploited its process

There were 10 countries designated for TPS at the start of the Trump Administration. Following the law, the administration terminated 6 countries because it was stated that the conditions no longer existed, and extended the TPS designations of 4 countries because the conditions continued to exist.

On the other side of the coin, the Biden-Harris Administration took unprecedented steps to expand and abuse TPS as a form of executive amnesty. The results were that the TPS individuals dramatically increased from around 10,000 to more than 2 million illegal aliens, most of whom entered the country over the last 3.5 years. If we are correct in our perception of the problems this created, it is clear to see how the system was abused and the aftereffects were felt all across our cities.

by Drl

These are the actions they overstepped:

Step 1: They restored the TPS designations of the 6 countries terminated by the Trump Administration without providing evidence that conditions met the statutory requirements.

Step 2: They unlawfully began categorically paroling illegal aliens from countries like Afghanistan, Haiti, Venezuela, and Ukraine.

Step 3: They laundered the parole status, which is temporary and easy to terminate, of these illegal aliens by granting TPS with stated reasons that do not meet the statutory requirements.

Step 4: They unlawfully “redesignated” TPS countries every 18 months, which means they changed the cutoff date for eligibility to cover newly arrived illegal aliens from those countries. This alone has caused the total TPS population to increase by over 1 million illegal aliens.

Step 5: They granted TPS to 6 new countries, again citing reasons that do not appear to meet the statutory requirements for a designation.

The Trump Administration listed over 500 sanctuary jurisdictions obstructing federal immigration enforcement, many shielding dangerous illegals who have committed all kinds of crimes and are endangering American Citizens. White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, stated on a C-Span interview: “The Constitution is the law of the land, and the supreme law is that the privilege of the written of habeas corpus.”

(Habeas corpus, which is a legal principle that allows individuals to challenge their detention or imprisonment in court, ensuring that the government must provide a valid reason for holding someone. It is a fundamental safeguard against unlawful detention and is rooted in both English common law and the U.S. Constitution.

He continues, “It can be suspended in a time of invasion, so we are looking at that option, a lot of it depends on whether the courts do the right thing or not, at the end of the day Congress passed the body of law known as the immigration nationality act which stripped Article 3 courts that's the judicial branch of jurisdiction over immigration cases, so Congress actually passed it's called jurisdiction stripping legislation it passed several laws that say that the Article 3 courts aren't even allowed to be involved in immigration cases many of you probably don't know this I'll give you a good example are you familiar with the term temporary protected status or TPS right so by statute the courts are stripped of jurisdiction from over ruling a presidential determination or a secretarial determination on TPS the secretary of Homeland Security makes that determination so when Secretary Kristi Noem

(United States secretary of homeland security) terminated TPS for the Illegals, when the court stepped in, they were violating explicit language that Congress enacted, saying they had no jurisdiction. So, the courts are not just at war with the executive branch; these radical woke judges are also at war with the legislative branch, so all of that will inform the choice that the president ultimately makes.”

The 350,000 undocumented last week of Venezuelans who had permission to live and work in the United States, subject to screening and other conditions under the program known as TPS (temporary protected status), created in 1990 to shield immigrants from countries experiencing war or other catastrophes. President Trump recently revoked the legal status of roughly 500,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela who came into the United States during the Biden administration.  17 other countries are currently eligible for TPS; it all depends on when they arrived in the U.S.

Blaze Media Reports: Under the Biden administration, the DHS had briefly paused the CHNV program last year after a bombshell report found rampant fraud. The program requires beneficiaries to apply with a U.S.-based sponsor; however, those sponsors do not have to be citizens. The report revealed that some sponsors had used the same Social Security numbers, addresses, and phone numbers on hundreds of applications.

According to new numbers released by the city of New York, taxpayers have spent $308 million on resources for illegal immigrants since July 1, and are on track to spend around $10 billion over the last three years.

According to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, they’ve spent $1.98 billion on housing and rent for illegal immigrants, about $2 billion on services and supplies, nearly $500 million on food and medical costs, and another $500 million on IT and administrative costs.

California spent around $22 billion on benefits and services for illegal immigrants, and they continues to expand these benefits. Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill expanding low- or no-cost Medi-Cal benefits, and new proposals are being considered to offer cash assistance to elderly illegal immigrants. Other benefits in California include K-12 education, indigent medical care, housing, and nutrition assistance. California also provides in-state tuition at public colleges and universities.

The American Immigration Council

Since the creation of the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) in 2003, the federal
The government has spent an estimated $409 billion
on the agencies that carry out immigration enforcement,1
and tens of billions more on border barriers and other
immigration enforcement-related infrastructure projects.

Border enforcement has become a top political issue in the United States, but what is its current cost, and by how much has it risen? To explore this, we look at the American Immigration Council’s fact sheet titled “The Cost of Immigration Enforcement and Border Security.” The data originally comes from the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Customs and Border Protection

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is the nation’s largest federal law enforcement agency, charged with securing the nation’s borders and facilitating international travel and trade. Our top priority is to keep terrorists and their weapons from entering the United States.

At the nation’s more than 300 ports of entry, Office of Field Operations (OFO) officers have a complex mission with broad law enforcement authorities tied to inspecting all foreign visitors, returning U.S. citizens, and imported cargo that enters the United States. Along the nation’s borders, the United States Border Patrol (USBP) and Air and Marine Operations (AMO) are the uniformed law enforcement components of CBP responsible for securing U.S. borders between ports of entry.

Democratic Senators seek details on the impacts of the border

“We are concerned about the Department of Defense’s (DoD) immigration-related operations at the southern border and at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay — including the implications of these operations for the military’s budget, readiness, and morale,” the senators said in the lengthy letter requesting specific details from the Pentagon.

“DoD’s support for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been expensive for American taxpayers, with some DoD expenses costing over three times more than when DHS performs the same function, while also posing 'an unacceptable risk' to units’ readiness,” they wrote.

“In all, the Trump administration is militarizing the country’s immigration enforcement system in an apparent attempt to signal toughness,” they added. ” But this political stunt will come at a high cost; it risks diverting DoD’s resources away from its vital mission in ways that compromise our national security.”

The fact that something is “law” doesn’t make it moral.

This is what legal scholars call legal positivism - the belief that laws are valid simply because they’re enacted by the right authority, regardless of whether they are fair or ethical. But as people of faith and conscience, we believe that God’s justice must always guide human law. Laws must be reformed when they no longer reflect dignity, truth, or moral dignity

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACH ABOUT IMMIGRATION

by Drl

In continuation of my previous writings, I will firstly begin by stating the most important component, what the Bible says about this, and while we can find many verses on this subject, undoubtedly God has called us to You must regard the foreigner who lives with you as the native-born among you. You are to love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord, your God.” Leviticus 19:34

I will share with you the following Bible Study, which has over 30 Biblical verses on how we should think regarding this topic of Immigration:

https://biblestudyforyou.com/bible-verses-about-immigration

Illegal and legal immigration have always been a part of the American Story, and we can point out the great contributions of decent, hardworking, taxpaying individuals. Those who have tirelessly worked in our workforce, from farmers to servers, babysitters, and those employed by Citizens, corporations, local businesses, hotels, and many other industries.

However, there are many components to the other side of the coin. The reality of this is that times have challenged us to take in a stranger, when there are countless experiences of wrongdoings and those who have taken advantage of the goodness of others. In a world where violence and lawlessness have taken hold in the hearts of many, and murder and crime are rampant, we are to take another perspective on this topic and make a concise change to how we address this issue. Let’s consider this verse: “The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.” – Psalms 146:9

“Then Peter began to speak: ‘I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.'” – Acts 10:34-35

Now let’s also consider this verse, it clearly reads “do not wrong or violence to the foreigner”; however, when it is the foreigner who is doing the oppressing or robbing, and not doing what is right, or shedding innocent blood, it is in direct contrast to accept such practices.

“This is what the LORD says: ‘Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do not do wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.'” – Jeremiah 22:3

This is a worldwide problem and not an American problem. We have seen the uprise in countries like Paris, France, Germany and many more, from countries, like Africa, middle east and others, with rampant invasion of heartless men who have undoubtedly created free, intimidation, raped, beatings and murder of the citizens, and are aiming to establish a takeover and even establish Sharia law.

In America, we have experienced countless lawlessness, and the same scenarios of theft, rape and murder have happened in great numbers, not as the statistics that the democrats or left has tried to hide, and evade from reporting, which is a major problem. How can a country turn on its own citizens? It is simple, paid propaganda and paid corrupt government and civil officials that are bought off, into changing the narrative so that their psyop is implemented.

Psychological operations (PSYOP) are operations to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their motives and objective reasoning, and ultimately the behavior of governments, organizations, groups, and large foreign powers.

So, who is interested in this type of operation? Firstly, those interested in bypassing the structures of the law and constitution, to gain a foothold in the country of their choice.

Secondly, those enemies of those countries know that allowing open borders and having no account of those individuals to be counted, vetted, and accounted for will eventually lead to a diverse number of problems. We saw this firsthand when millions were let into our country right after the COVID mandates, without any vetting of their medical standing. It was an outcry, since American Citizens had been basically forced to get vaccinated, but this coin flipped, and suddenly, that did not matter, and why?

It gets us to our second point, “election season,” since the democratic party, after having lost in numbers of registrants and voters, deceptively took up the immigration cause. We saw this greatly when former President Obama, had deported the greatest numbers of immigrants from our nation, and they remained nonchalant, as if nothing happened here. There was no great outrage, or media coverage as such, because democrats don’t fight for what is right per se; in most cases, they fight for what is convenient to them at the time. It was only when the coin flipped and Trump was campaigning against them that it mattered. They saw they needed voters, since most common sense and informed voters were leaving the party in droves, and that they needed new voters, even if those voters were not legal votes from citizens.

Let the floodgates open! And so, they did, more than any other time in history, millions were coming in, it did not matter if they had an asylum legit case, if they were accompanied by their families or not, vaccinated or not, civil or criminal, good or evil, rapist or murderers. The grave difference was not that they were just allowing them in, but were covering them, and working with foreign agents to lure them into our nation. Their goal was to bring them in at all costs, and cost they did, by funding, aiding, and abetting them.

The ugly side of the coin is that many were taken into all kinds of hotels, while our homeless and veterans still lacked a place to call home. We can all want humanity to have a warm bed and food to continue with their struggle, but many went overboard, facilitating them with illegal services in Medicaid and even tampering with our Social Security system, and having them receive checks. Meanwhile, threatening Americans that the system will soon collapse and we could not count on our checks on a long-term basis, all the while blaming cuts on the Republicans, in a deceptive gaslighting way.

Taxpayers were pushed to the limits, and high prices were everywhere, the reason being, someone had to pay for the food, phones, medical bills, programs, housing, etc., of the overwhelming number of immigrants coming into our cities and towns. But when these same, tried to go to Martha’s Vineyard, or other lofty neighborhoods where some of the richest democrats lived, they were the first to call ICE on them and have them removed.

These extreme measures of open borders are not reasonable or sustainable for any country, and we can see that in Mexico, for example, which has borders, as every other country in the world. Many countries will not accept other migrants as citizens and have stronger and harsher laws for those who violate these laws. At the peak of this crisis in America, it was said that approximately 10,000 crossings were happening at the border in one single day. In 2023, there were a quarter million crossings in just one month.

Some claim that deporting immigrants is kidnapping immigrants, and that deporting them to another country without due process is wrong, yet the other side of the coin is that when they came in illegally, if they did not seek “due process” or have claimed asylum, they forfeited the right of process. As hard as it is, we can’t break the law and claim rights to the law we break.

In another aspect, many who have legit asylum claims fall at times within the cracks of this broken system and are facing grave consequences. It is also questionable if ICE agents arrest those who are showing up to their court hearings. Recently, the Justice Department fired multiple immigration judges amid case backlogs and is aiming to convict and arrest anyone who is aiding and abetting immigrants or trying to steer ICE from arrest. It is a very hard time for America, and this picture is not looking good for anyone. It is a complex and deep topic that can’t be easily resolved.

There is currently an approximation of 50,000.000 undocumented illegals in the United States. Since 2021, immigration has added around 10,000 people to the U.S population, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Less than 1/3 came in legally on visas, work or student visas, or as refugees. Many of the rest crossed the border without authorization or overstayed their visas, often seeking to stay on humanitarian grounds once they had entered. Despite, no matter how much America does, and in comparison, to other countries’ immigration stance which are never as fair as America, it is never enough, because for most in the democratic leftist mind set, America should do as told, and have no sovereignty when it comes to their own affairs.

Let’s speak a bit about Mexico, mainly because of its border issues, Mexico has unfortunately become a haven for drug and human trafficking. The cartels, in a great part, control the border, and most of the immigrants from whichever country that cross through must pay these coyote,s and many women and children have been raped and even murdered. One of the largest sources of child pornography is streaming from Mexico, and they are also responsible for the Fentanyl, which is killing Americans in droves. Meanwhile, Spanish media channels like Univision focus on attacking Trump in a most hateful way, and many times do not address their own problems with the American border, while they have their own border to protect from immigrants coming from Guatemala and other Latin American countries.

Univision has become a specialist in producing and broadcasting movies and novels on cartels, violence, and corruption; they alone are responsible for their content and guilty of feeding this beast, instead of leading their viewers to abstain. It is not as their programming has been mainly to bring awareness to the dealings of cartels, but rather has done so in a way of glamorization, leading many people, especially our youth, to try to mimic these lawless and violent characters.

Although Mexico has been applauded for its arts, music, food, and culture, we can’t deny that the other side of the coin has strong ties to black magic, witchcraft, idolatry, and in recent years has fallen by gangs, human and drug traffickers. Univision, as mentioned, one of their major networks, has led many of their communities to suffer the consequences of this type of propaganda, leaving their hardworking, church followers, and family-oriented citizens to also suffer gravely under the fear and persecution of the cartels.

Univision should take accountability for their shows and coverage, for they influence masses and must respond to the countless number of viewers from other countries, who absorb this type of programming, and it has affected the culture and the family units of many Spanish-speaking nations. They are not the Univision of 20 years ago; they have been paid into the system, and it is known that cartels, through the influence of their money, have paid for many corrupt governments to be silenced by fear or by profit.

It only takes two common denominating factors for this type of corruption to happen: the love of money and the silence of good people who do not stand or speak out against corruption. We saw in the recent protest of Mexicans in several States protesting ICE, they chanted “We are not going anywhere,” and we could understand their pain and concerns; however, it is futile to think anyone has the right to overstep boundaries and laws and force another country to forcibly take one in. If they go try that in other countries, they will find that it will not go well for them. In their many displays of flags, not one American flag was waved, and although some truly love America, many individuals, be it Mexican or any other race, truly hate America. How can we live in a country we hate? And how can we have self-respect if we don’t respect the country we are in?

This and other reasons are why there is such an uptick in anti-American rhetoric and a hateful position against America, going to the point of selling it out to their very own enemies. Therefore, it is a fact, we are not fighting an enemy outside our borders; we are fighting the enemies within, and the not-so-surprising news is that many Americans have turned on America, themselves. On the other side of the coin, many have found refuge, security, and a better life, and respect America, with its imperfections and flaws.

Here in New York, you will find that most Mexicans are hard workers, family-oriented, and are mainly to themselves. They build their businesses and in the most part, keep to themselves; however, I have noticed that their focus is always on them, few pour into others in our communities, and most of their accomplishments and aimed towards their own tents, building for Mexico and many do not have America’s best interest. Only those who allow themselves to be Americanized or have been serving a greater cause other than themselves, like we see in certain cases, and in the churches they serve.

Corruption and crime are worldwide, and this is not a Mexican, Latin, or American matter; however, we can’t deny the hard reality that examples as these are happening, and if we are fair-minded and common-sense thinkers, we can’t deny reality. The hardest reality is to face it and uproot it. The more recent influx of crime coming from El Salvador gangs, like MS13, is another major haul, and fortunately for the election of their President Nayib Bukele, crime has gone down in great numbers. Tren de Aragua had 2,720 recent arrests in the United States, stated Kristen Noem, in a White House press conference on June 27, 2025.

His faith has been a great factor, and his force to reduce crime will give testament to the power of a leader who allows God to take the mantle and direct one’s path to righteousness. Here is a living example before our eyes, how a nation can shift with the right leaders who are not bought and sold. Statistics don’t like it, and once a nation is aligned properly, everything starts to flow spiritually, socially, economically, and educationally.

As per reports, homicides fell by 50 percent during Bukele's first year in office. After 87 people were killed by gangs over one weekend in March 2022, Bukele initiated a nationwide crackdown on gangs, resulting in the arrests of over 85,000 people with alleged gang affiliations by December 2024. El Salvador's homicide rate decreased to 1.9 homicides per 100,000 in 2024, one of the lowest in the Americas. Yet, the left and democrats always find a way to find fault and criticize him, mostly because he has befriended Trump, so to them, it does not matter that El Salvador is in a far better state of affairs and lives have been saved and the country is booming, it only matters that he is not of the left.

Which leads me to our next point, the incarceration of immigrants. I strongly believe that although someone crossed the border illegally, if they have not committed further crimes, they should be fined for breaking illegally into another country, and deported at most, but not given jail time. U.S Immigration and Customs reports that ICE ensures that non-citizens are removed once they have been determined deportable by an immigration court. The undocumented immigrants in the U.S are entitled to due process as far as known by the Fifth and Fourteen Amendments. These include their right to a hearing before a Judge and the opportunity to present evidence or appeal a deportation order. However, there is no trial, no free legal representation, and no prolonged court battles. If we look at South Africa, plagued with similar problems, they are asking to declare a State of Emergency and have Mass Deportations.

Please make sure you also post about immigrants who are criminals, like the hundreds that have raped, murdered, broken into homes, torn up businesses, and those anarchists in L.A. Those who are throwing rocks at officers, destroying city properties, and endangering citizens. The Bible also says a whole lot about anyone, be it a citizen or not, who commits such actions will face penalties. They give good immigrants a bad image! It seems that the leftist Christians always seem to overlook these harsh realities. Though we are called to love and help those in need, we are not told to leave open borders to anyone without proper vetting and procedures.

As a New Yorker, it was not emotionally healthy or safe to come off a bus near Port Authority and find myself having to walk through streets filled with 200-300 men, just looking at how they will survive among many robberies, uproars, and dangerous scenarios. They were encouraged and sponsored by an unhinged democratic party looking for votes. These actions are not normal and are unacceptable. There have been 340,000 missing children at the Border Crossings.

Yet, the fake news is constantly trying to hide all the recent crimes, murders, and rapes, to the point of not covering them at all!

We are now seeing that the Trump administration is providing airfare, $1,000, and other perks for them to leave willingly. This should have never reached this point, but the greediness of the democrats to open the borders, to use their votes, also illegal, also giving them first class hotels, medicaid, food stamps, while our homeless and veterans were still homeless in the streets and meanwhile saying Social security was going bankrupt, while they were stealing it, proven by Congress, is unimaginable! This now caused many people to be deported, which would have never happened in the manner that it has!

We must not resort to collective blaming. Many specifically aim to separate the criminal immigrants from other Immigrants. Unless it's a conservative site, most news outlets lie about information and statistics. We see firsthand in the news outlets where many won’t cover the crimes, because that is the point of bias where we are at. As a Journalist and activist, I research extensively and also speak from the realities seen and the experience of living in Manhattan, and traveling to other places. In NYC, many can witness the great increase in theft, crime, drug sales, prostitution, and more. From other States, Fox News has covered many of the murders and rapes, home invasions, and other crimes, like looting. However, one will not know because they were not covered and reported by MSNBC, CNN, or even basic local news. Thankfully, for other news networks, people can now reach the truth.

The point of comparing immigrants to the crime of Citizens is not the point, nor would I do that, we must understand this is not the same kind of people crossing the borders from 20 years ago. Be it is citizens or immigrants, this is a more violent world. If we research, many Latino Countries have also been infected with high crime, drugs, and gangs like never seen. We saw this mostly in El Salvador with MS13 and the cartels of Mexico, with cartels and gangs that are in war with their own Government.

Also, let’s keep in mind that many crimes go unreported. I will share personally in my personal experience. I had my identity stolen, and years ago, an undocumented immigrant stole $5,000 from me, posing as a real estate agent. My mother had about $4,000 stolen from a travel agency office, which was a fraud, and then disappeared! I have also seen and heard of many other cases, and there is no hope of finding those who don’t have papers or use other people’s identities, which happens often.

As for the Obama era, there was family separation, and there was no resistance, no riots, and few protests. This uproar with Trump is politically stirred and backed by NGO’s, globalists, and elites like George Soros, that’s just factual, because the downfall of independence and nationalism is under great attack!  Those who created the Blm movement, which started with peaceful protests, from an organization that is anti-American, leftist, along with anarchist groups like Antifa, turned our nation into a living hell.

Approximately 2 billion in damages, 2,000 Police Officers injured, over 570 riots, hundreds of lives injured, and hundreds beaten and persecuted in trains, streets, and restaurants, that was the norm! In Manhattan alone, our downtown court area was unrecognizable. I really don’t know how you could say they were mostly peaceful when streets, businesses, government buildings, American historical statues, and more were burned and destroyed! There was no justification to do such actions!

The storyline was clearly also aimed at Trump, and they pushed the narrative with a list of lies and false news that would be hard to put in one post. He was vehemently accused of racism, although he has always supported the black community, having a record of doing so, even before being in politics. As President, he passed criminal reform legislation, among other actions, and funding for the black community, more than any other President in history. I do have a blog on my page with the details. Our African American voters have been aware of the misleading and deceptive methods that the left used, and many have retaliated and left the democratic party, for this and many other reasons, and rightly so!

On the point of open borders, I see, unfortunately, you really missed the facts on this. The border was open! It was not legally documented as such, but visually and historically, there has never been such an increase in crossings at once, due to the incompetence of the previous administration. The vetting and legal procedures were no longer active, and the border officers were told to stand down, leading to many of them filing complaints. The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol have the statistics on this, and fervently sought help, but to no avail, until Trump. If the democrats had not pushed open borders and the influx of illegal immigrants and overwhelmed the American people, this would have never reached this point, and this is only the beginning. This can turn really ugly, hopefully it won’t.

I would say this, I was born in Manhattan and lived here all my life, I saw with my own eyes, thousands of illegal immigrants everywhere, hundreds in one area, dozens on corners, hotels packed to the brim, so and so forth, never before had this happened in recent history and people were intimidated by the numbers.

It has been documented by Congress and DOGE that, indeed, immigrants were voting and receiving benefits like Medicaid and Social Security by the millions, were given to false and decease names, among other fiscal corruption, which was found. This was all done by democrats. And yes, they have been heavily involved in bringing in immigrants from many Countries to a level that is outside their legal and administrative congressional or senatorial duties.

The fact is, our constitution has been written for citizens, not foreigners, as they are, as usual, twisting the truth. However, the undocumented do have rights and protection under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, although debated, but they also should be able to have a fair legal process. I believe there are other ways to help families and immigrants, especially those who have been here for years and worked hard, and paid taxes.

Many paid lesser pay and offer no benefits by many American companies, as we know, some companies do it for greed and to evade taxes, which is also illegal. Furthermore, all these factors do not evade the fact that many came by illegal means, and did not seek due process at their forced entrance, so the debate of due process is limited and different; they don’t have the right to be assured citizenship.

As someone who throughout the years has had hundreds of friends who have been immigrants, fellow church members, and being that I have a family with 10 different nationalities, I don’t speak from a place of racism, be it far from me. I stand against racism and xenophobia, especially the recent uprising of racism among our fellow White Americans, on what many call Christian Nationalism! Trying to paint them as false Christians.

The harsh attacks, riots, and rapes in several European Countries against Whites are destroying these countries, a takeover jihad by Muslims, but it is not addressed by leftists or democrats, nor do they cover it in the media. Where is the voice of those justice and rights speaker advocates? America and Christianity have been under great persecution, sedition, racism, hate, bias, and censorship! Yet, many churches and organizations are biased and leftist; they stand only for what is aligned with their liberalistic secular mindset, evading religiosity. They have done worse by going to another extreme without holding on to a gospel centric measure. This and more injustices are happening, but I digress. Social justice has moved from biblical principles!

I stand outside all the boxes and aim to speak for truth and biblical foundations, which are above and beyond politics. Thank you for reading, and may God help us all find solutions and better immigration, civil, justice, and overall laws by which we may live. Until the king of kings Jesus Christ comes to establish law and order, peace and safety, from all enemies of humanity, and who will bring all things to the light and unmask many. What is written is written, we see this anti-christ spirit blinding many, and if the chosen are not careful, they too could be deceived, if it were possible!

If we look outside our walls and consider what unvetted immigration has caused in countries like Paris, Spain, Europe, and others, we can't deny the chaos, violence, anarchy, thefts, rapes, and murders!

In America, it was reported by America PAC that 13,000 murderers, 15,000 rapists, and 425,000 convicted criminals were in our country. That is the account of those who are known.

Under 10 U.S.C. § 12406, the President may call up the National Guard to federal active duty without the governor's consent if necessary to:

a. Repelling an invasion,

b. Suppress a rebellion, or

c. To guarantee the execution of federal laws.

This places the National Guard under federal command and control, removing it from state authority.

We hope all countries gain control of their borders and citizens, and all people can live safely and soundly. We all deserve to have common-sense solutions for the greater good.

I kindly invite you to ask Jesus Christ into your heart! I pray that these writings have inspired you to make a stronger commitment to receive Him as your one and only Savior, for He did not die at the Cross in vain for our sins.

He rose again and seated at the right hand of the Father! He is felt and seen in the works, healings and salvation for the millions of lives who serve Him, wholeheartedly! His Holy Spirit is wonderful and powerful and the best friend, counselor and Father, one could ever have!

Please never allow the action of those to move you from His love, He is the way, the truth and the life, in the midst of all the paths claiming to be the truth, He will show Himself to be real in a powerful and life-changing way!

Revelations 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
